• Account & profile details — your name, mobile number, gender, date of birth, photo, work experience, skills, preferred roles, salary preferences and work history.
• Identity & verification data — government identifiers such as Aadhaar, PAN or Voter ID details that you choose to submit for verification, processed through secure, authorised partners.
• Employer/business details — company name, business documents, job listings and team information when you register as an employer.
• Location data — your current city and location to show relevant jobs and candidates near you.
• Payment information — transaction details for subscriptions and payments, processed via our integrated payment gateway. We do not store full card details.
• Usage & device data — app interactions, device type, OS, and diagnostic logs used to improve the Platform.

• To create and manage your account and profile.
• To connect work seekers with relevant jobs and employers with suitable candidates.
• To verify identities and maintain a legitimate, trustworthy database.
• To process job applications, offer letters, payments, payslips and subscriptions.
• To send notifications about applications, offers, and account activity.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse and security issues.

We share information only as needed to operate the Platform:

• Between users — relevant profile details are shared with employers when you apply for a job, and with candidates when employers reach out. Once you are hired, your profile is hidden from public search.
• Service providers — verification, payment, cloud and analytics partners who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality.
• Legal compliance — when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4Identity Verification

Verification through Aadhaar and other government IDs is used solely to confirm identity and build trust between work seekers and employers. This data is handled with bank-grade encryption through authorised partners and is never publicly displayed.

5Data Security

We employ robust technical and organisational measures — including OTP authentication and encrypted data transactions — and follow industry best practices to safeguard your information. While no system is perfectly secure, we work continuously to protect your data.

6Your Rights & Choices

• Access, update or correct your profile information at any time within the app.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Manage notification preferences and communication settings.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing where applicable.

7Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion as described above.

8Children's Privacy

Kaamhai is intended for users who are 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
